What is the difference between Education Web and Education Cloud?

Education Web provides website hosting with Plesk, email accounts and databases. Education Cloud provides a Linux virtual server for installing and configuring your own software. You need to manage the system and its security.

Can I use Windows or Docker?

Education Cloud runs on Linux only. Docker is compatible with this plan. Choose your resources based on your application's needs.

Are the plans free?

No. EDU 5 and EDU-1 cost €20 incl. VAT per year, and EDU-2 costs €30 incl. VAT per year. Billing is annual, and these rates require valid proof of student status.

When will my service be activated?

Your student status must be verified and payment confirmed. Some orders require a manual review. Allow for this step before setting a launch date for your project.

What happens when I finish my studies?

When you finish your studies, your service automatically switches to the closest standard plan at the current rates. You can continue using your hosting after you are no longer eligible for Education plans.

Do I need to renew my proof of student status?

Yes, every year through your client area. Without up-to-date proof, your service may be suspended. Read your plan's terms to find out how to restore your eligibility.
