Our Commitment to Education
PulseHeberg was born in 2012 from a simple idea: a group of computer-science students who wanted to host their projects without breaking the bank. Over the years, this student project grew into a fully-fledged, independent French company.
Almost 15 years later, we haven't forgotten where we came from. Education Cloud is our way of giving back to the academic world · the world that allowed us to learn, experiment, and build what we are today.

Netrix DDoS Protection
All our plans include Anti-DDoS Netrix protection through Netrix Traffic Mitigation (NTM), operated around the clock by the Netrix teams. Traffic is analysed and flows identified as malicious are filtered before reaching your services, helping limit the impact of attacks on your activity.
Detection combines signatures and behavioural analysis of TCP/UDP traffic, with an average mitigation time of 5 seconds.

How long does it take to activate the service?
Once the payment is confirmed, the service is automatically activated in a few minutes. Under certain conditions the order may require a manual review which can take up to 12 hours.
Can I run Windows?
The Education Cloud offer supports Linux operating systems only.
Does the VPS have a VNC console?
A VNC console is available in your client area. It allows you to see the status of the VPS or connect to it for example in case of SSH service failure.
Is Docker supported?
Our VPS instances are fully virtualised machines and support Docker.
Is a firewall included?
Yes, the firewall can be activated from the customer area.
Can I add IP addresses?
Additional IP addresses are not available with our VPS plans.
Can I downgrade my VPS?
A VPS cannot be downgraded because its virtual disk cannot be reduced once it has been expanded.
Can I upgrade individual resources?
Individual resource upgrades are not currently available. To increase your resources, you need to move to a higher plan.
What is a Linux VPS for students?
It is a discounted VPS reserved for students currently in studies, upon validation of proof from the PulseHeberg customer area.
What are the conditions for the Linux VPS for students?
Student status validated via proof (student card or school certificate), limit of one VPS per customer, hosting in France or Switzerland.
What type of storage is included?
Education Cloud includes SATA storage accelerated by an NVMe cache. It does not use all-NVMe storage.
