Do I need to activate an option?
No. Anti-DDoS Netrix protection is integrated into PulseHeberg services.
Does this replace server security?
No. Updates, firewall rules, access management and backups remain necessary. Anti-DDoS addresses network attacks. It does not fix application vulnerabilities.
Is availability guaranteed in every case?
In the vast majority of cases, attacks are filtered without affecting the availability of your service. However, this cannot be guaranteed for every attack, as many factors come into play, including its nature, intensity and the behaviour of the targeted application.
Will I be notified of an attack?
Yes. If an attack is detected on your service, we send you an email notification to inform you of the situation.
Is the protection suitable for game servers?
Netrix provides mitigation profiles tailored to the protocols of the games and services listed on this page. They help distinguish player traffic from attack traffic. Feel free to contact our support team for advice on protecting and configuring your game server.
What if my service is still disrupted?
Although unlikely, disruption may persist despite filtering. In that case, contact support with the affected service, its IP address, the time of the problem and the symptoms you observed. If you received an attack notification, mention it in your request to help our team investigate.
