How long does it take to activate the service?

Once the payment is confirmed, the service is automatically activated in a few minutes. Under certain conditions the order may require a manual review which can take up to 12 hours.

Is it possible to have Windows as OS?

The Classic Cloud offer only allows to run OS under Linux.

Does the VPS have a VNC console?

A VNC console is available on your client space, it allows you to see the status of the VPS or connect to it for example in case of SSH service failure.

Is Docker supported on your offers?

Our VPS are VMs in their own right, so Docker is fully compatible with our offers.

Does the offer have a firewall?

Yes, the firewall can be activated from the customer area.

Is it possible to have additional IPs?

We do not offer additional IPs on our VPS offer, however it is possible to obtain additional IPs on the dedicated server offers.

Is it possible to downgrade a server?

We cannot downgrade a VPS server, in fact the virtual hard disk of a VPS once expanded cannot be reduced.

Is it possible to increase only certain resources?

For the moment we do not propose the increase of certain resources, if you want to make a service evolve you have to change the offer.

What is a KVM VPS?

A KVM VPS is a virtual server based on the KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) hypervisor. Each Linux VPS Classic Cloud has dedicated CPU, RAM and NVMe resources in an environment fully isolated from the rest of the platform.

What is the difference between VPS NVMe and VPS Storage HDD?

The included VPS NVMe offers fast read/write performance for OS and databases. The attachable VPS Storage HDD (250 GB to 2 TB) brings capacity at reduced cost, ideal for media libraries, backups or file servers.

Can I attach an HDD disk to a cheap Linux VPS?

Yes, Classic Cloud offers the attachable VPS Storage HDD option up to 2 TB on top of the included NVMe storage, starting at €5/month.

Can a PulseHeberg Linux VPS serve as a NAS or personal cloud?

Yes, Classic Cloud with its Storage HDD option up to 2 TB is suitable for NAS, file server or self-hosted personal cloud (Nextcloud, ownCloud) for documents and archives.

What is the maximum storage capacity on a VPS at PulseHeberg?

Up to 2 TB of additional HDD through the VPS Storage option, on top of the NVMe storage included with every Linux VPS Classic Cloud.
